Bacon Breakfast Pizza with Fried Egg and Mozzarella

Breakfast pizza — have you ever tried it? Hot and crispy homemade pizza, with basil, cheese, and topped with an oozing egg — this is a breakfast in its own right. 4 Pizzas


  • 4 slices Naan Bread
  • 8 oz Turkey Bacon
  • 4 Eggs (1 for each pizza)
  • 8 oz of Shredded Cheese
  • 1/2 Red Onion (Sliced)
  • 1 Tomato (Diced)
  • 5-8 Basil leaves (Diced)
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil

  • 8 oz of Shredded Cheese
  • 1 Red Onion
  • 1 Tomato
  • 1 bunch of Basil

Preheat the oven to 425° F.

1. Cook bacon on griddle or in a pan until fat is rendered and bacon is crisp, about 8 minutes. After it cools, dice into 1/4 inch slices.

2. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium heat, add red onion slices, cook for about 5 minutes. Add tomatoes and garlic. Cook until fragrant, about 2 minutes.

3. Brush flatbread with olive oil and spread with the onion mixture. Sprinkle with bacon and cheese. Place the pizza in the oven and bake until the edges of the flatbread are crisp about 10 minutes.

4. Meanwhile, heat a skillet over medium heat (you can wipe down and reuse a previously used pan) and add oil. Carefully break the eggs into the skillet, sprinkle with salt and pepper and cook until the whites are set, about 4 minutes.

Place one fried egg on each piece. Scatter the torn basil leaves over the top and serve immediately.
